Legal requirements for raffle and draw tickets

All tickets intended for sale to the general public in advance of a Draw must be registered with your local Council to comply with the law.

Please contact your local council for guidance on whether your Draw needs to be registered or not and if it should comply with The Lotteries & Amusements Act 1976 or the Gambling Act 2005. It is an offence to order, print or distribute tickets that do not comply.

The following is a brief guide to the information that is required on your ticket.

As stated above it is the responsibility of the Organisation running the Draw to ensure that they are registered with their Local Authority

If the Organisation running the Draw is a registered charity the registered number must be shown on the ticket.

The Promoters name and contact information must be shown on the ticket.

The Place, Date and Time of the Draw must be shown on the ticket.

The Counterfoil must contain contact information and a date for the return of unsold tickets.

The ticket price must be shown and all tickets for each Draw must be sold at the same price. It is illegal to offer tickets below the printed price. A book of tickets must be sold for the full value of the tickets it contains.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Once payment has been received you will receive a proof back within 1-2 working days by email. On approval of the proof, please allow a maximum of 5 working days for delivery. Orders that have been designed online are delivered in a maximum of 5 working days.

Can we supply our own artwork and logos?

Yes of course, please upload or email us your artwork.

File Types Accepted

Do not down sample or compress any images.

We can accept files in Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Publisher, please convert to a pdf file. If you cannot supply your artwork in the programs requested then we you may be able to save or export your artwork into any of the following formats and supply these instead. TIFF EPS JPEG PDF

All images used must be at least 300dpi. Images downloaded from the internet are rarely of good enough quality to be used, no matter how good they may appear on screen. If you have an image that is say 72dpi you cannot amend this to make it 300dpi. You need to do this at source (ie when you scan it).

Raffle Ticket Specifications

Our standard ticket size is: 205mm x 75mm.

Paper: White 80gsm as standard, tinted coloured paper available at an extra charge, see extras on price list.

Printing: Offset litho using vegetable inks.

Serial numbers. Printed in black ink on ticket and counterfoil.

Perforations: 2 Perforations between stub and counterfoil, and counterfoil and stub. Binding, All tickets are glued into books of 5 as standard at the stub, other combinations available at an extra charge, see extras on prices list.

Do you offer any customer account facilites?

We do not offer any credit facilites, full payment is required with all orders.

What happens if I am not happy with the proof I receive?

We will change it for you until you are entirely satisfied with the design. We will not proceed with printing until we receive a signed proof back to say you are entirely satisfied with the design

How much is the delivery cost?

Delivery to one UK Mainland address is £7.50 +VAT

Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands & Northern Ireland including the postcodes as below is £9.00 + VAT

How will my order arrive?

We dispatch all orders using DPD next day delivery.

What if I require something that isn't advertised on your website?

If you a have a print requirement that is not covered on our website, please contact us and we will get a quotation arranged for you
